About the Project
Blick Rothenberg Office Refurbishment, London
Refurbishment of four storeys of office accommodation, completed in 56 weeks.
With two construction company startups already on his CV, Clinton Wright approached this strip-out and fit-out of four client-occupied floors spanning 36,000sqft of a central London office block with entrepreneurial zeal.
He worked ably around multiple constraints in the multi-tenanted building, making sure the incumbent contractors carried out and completed their works to allow his project to move on. As the phased project progressed, Clinton dynamically adapted to shifting occupation and release timings, reprioritising to meet the needs of external parties.
Clinton used CAD software not only to ensure the proposed designs were functional but also to keep the client engaged with the proposed design through digital visuals. His value engineering included the reuse of the cabinet carcasses and the introduction of LED lighting. By removing all the existing fluorescent lighting from occupied and projected areas and replacing them with LED fittings, he generated client savings on life-cycle power consumption as well as procurement.
Professional and friendly in his approach, Clinton took the time to explain individual elements of the project to stakeholders and avoided his works impacting other users of the building. The happy client can’t wait to work with him again.
