He delivered the timeline with a precast strategy that gave more construction certainty, and introduced 13 sectional completions to give the client commercial benefit by allowing early tenant access. His championing of a precast facade didn’t just mitigate the risks associated with working near a major rail line, improve labour efficiency, enhance quality and eliminate scaffolding, it also expanded the floor area and saved three months.
With every single floor plate different for the 12 buildings, and 67 floors being worked on simultaneously, Graham provided meticulous planning and coordination. Each floor had a unique design, making standardisation impossible and bespoke solutions necessary at every level.
Appointing a quality management team with members from each project discipline, and fostering a culture of openness that allowed issues to be addressed promptly and proactively, Graham delivered all the quality expectations.
